Our new factory in Einbeck

Burgsmüller GmbH continues to plan its future in southern Lower Saxony and is building a new plant for metal processing. Together with VGP, a leading project developer for commercial real estate, an approx. 7,200 m² hall and office complex is being built. In the second quarter of 2020, the construction of the plant on the 20,000 m² site should be completed. The new location offers jobs for up to 125 qualified employees. The most modern production facility in Europe will be built in order to produce wear parts for plastics machinery in an internationally competitive manner.

Under the motto "A vision becomes reality - networked production and industry 4.0", Burgsmüller is consistently focusing its production on industry 4.0 in the new plant. Burgsmüller will set up a SmartFactory with integrated networked production and data processing in real time, visualized processes and data evaluation. In addition, the arrangement of ultra-modern machine tools in production can sustainably increase efficiency and reduce throughput times for the manufacture of components. Of great strategic importance for the decision to set up the new location again in Einbeck were the existing qualified employees, the established network of suppliers to meet requirements, good transport connections and the possibility of connecting to a high-performance broadband network. Burgsmüller benefits directly from the broadband promotion programme of your state government and secures up to 125 jobs for well-trained skilled metalworkers in southern Lower Saxony.
